What is Cambodia’s Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI)?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CICADA continues to support the CCI by drafting a working paper on definition of \u201cCultural and Creative Industries\u201d (CCI) through multiple stages of consultation meetings involving CICADA members, Diverse artists and cultural practitioners, and CICADA Steering Committees, representing various sectors within the CCI. Additionally, CICADA has reviewed the draft against \u201cCambodia\u2019s Future Industries\u201d report by the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts and the definition and CCI mapping of neighboring countries like Thailand and Indonesia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative is still a working paper and remains open for further refinement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CICADA has also submitted this working paper to the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts for review and feedback to ensure a progressive and inclusive definition that reflects Cambodia’s rich art and cultural sector as much as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
