SAM Daro

សំ ដារ៉ូ គឺជាវិចិត្រករបែបទស្សនៈ និងឌីជីថលឯករាជ្យ។ ដំណើររបស់គាត់បានចាប់ផ្តើមក្នុងនាមជាវិចិត្រករស្វ័យសិក្សាតាំងពីក្មេង ដោយប្រើប្រាស់គំនូរ ជាការព្យាបាល និងទប់ទល់នឹងបញ្ហាផ្ទាល់ខ្លួន និងគ្រួសារ រហូតអាចជួយគាត់គ្រប់គ្រងជំងឺធ្លាក់ទឹកចិត្ត។ បន្ទាប់ពីបញ្ចប់ការសិក្សា និងទទួលបានសញ្ញាបត្រ ដារ៉ូបានចូលប្រឡូកក្នុងពិភពសិល្បៈឌីជីថល ដោយចាប់ផ្តើមអាជីពជាអ្នកសិល្បៈហ្គេម និងជាអ្នកដឹកនាំសិល្បករខ្មែរឌីជីថល 2D នៅ Digital Works Khmer (DWK)។ បន្ទាប់មក គាត់បានពង្រីកការយល់ដឹងរបស់គាត់ដោយតួនាទីជា Conceptual and Digital Artist នៅក្រុមហ៊ុនវីដេអូហ្គេម និងភាពយន្តនានានៅកម្ពុជា។ អស់រយៈពេលបីឆ្នាំមកនេះ ដារ៉ូ បានរីកចម្រើនក្នុងនាមជាសិល្បករឯករាជ្យ ដោយបង្កើតសិល្បៈចម្រុះសម្រាប់ប្រព័ន្ធផ្សព្វផ្សាយជាច្រើន រួមមានសិល្បៈសហសម័យ គំនូរជីវចល រឿងត្លុក ក្របសៀវភៅ សិល្បៈគំនិត និងអ្វីៗជាច្រើនទៀត។

«ជាមួយនឹងបទពិសោធន៍វិជ្ជាជីវៈជាង១០ឆ្នាំកន្លងមក ខ្ញុំមានគោលបំណងបំផុសស្មារតីសិល្បករជំនាន់ក្រោយឱ្យស្វែងយល់ពីភាពច្នៃប្រតិដ្ឋរបស់ពួកគេ និងចូលរួមចំណែកក្នុងសិល្បៈឌីជីថលនៅកម្ពុជា។ ខ្ញុំចង់គាំទ្រសហគមន៍សិល្បៈរបស់ខ្ញុំដោយចូលរួមក្នុងឱកាសកម្មវិធីសំខាន់ៗ និងចែករំលែកចំណេះជំនាញរបស់ខ្ញុំតាមតម្រូវការ។ ទន្ទឹមនឹងនោះ ខ្ញុំមានបំណងចង់រៀនពីសហគមន៍សិល្បៈខ្មែររបស់ខ្ញុំ ជាពិសេសពីទម្រង់សិល្បៈចម្រុះផ្សេងៗគ្នា។ ចំណង់ចំណូលចិត្តរបស់ខ្ញុំចំពោះសិល្បៈ បានជំរុញឱ្យខ្ញុំបន្តបង្កើន ពង្រឹង និងពង្រីកចំណេះដឹងរបស់ខ្ញុំ ដើម្បីប្រាកដថាខ្ញុំអាចជួយដល់សិល្បករផ្សេងទៀត។ តាមរយៈការជំរុញកិច្ចសហការ និងការគាំទ្រ ខ្ញុំសង្ឃឹមថានឹងអាចបង្កើតសហគមន៍សិល្បៈដ៏រីកចម្រើន ដែលពោរពេញដោយភាពចម្រុះ និងការច្នៃប្រតិដ្ឋនៅក្នុងសិល្បៈខ្មែរ។ រួមគ្នា យើងអាចលើកកម្ពស់សិល្បៈឌីជីថល និងប្រពៃណីរបស់កម្ពុជា និងរីកសុសសាយលើឆាកសិល្បៈអន្តរជាតិ។»

SAM Daro is an independent conceptual and digital artist. His journey began as a self-taught artist from a young age, using drawing as a therapeutic outlet to cope with personal and family challenges, eventually helping him manage depression. After earning his degree, Daro immersed himself in the world of digital art, beginning his career as a Game Artist and 2D Digital Khmer Artist Lead at Digital Works Khmer (DWK). He then broadened his horizons by taking on roles as a Conceptual and Digital Artist at various Cambodian video game and film companies. For the past three years, Daro has thrived as an independent artist, creating a diverse range of art for multiple media including contemporary art, animations, comics, book covers, conceptual art, and more.

“With over a decade of professional experience, I aim to inspire the next generation of artists to explore their creativity and contribute to digital art in Cambodia. I want to support my art community by participating in important occasions and offering my skills where needed. At the same time, I am eager to learn from my Khmer art community, especially from different art forms. My passion for art drives me to continuously improve and expand my knowledge, ensuring I can provide valuable insights to aspiring artists. By fostering a collaborative environment, I hope to create a thriving artistic community that celebrates diversity and innovation. Together, we can elevate Cambodian digital and traditional art and make a lasting impact on the global art scene.”
